Sarawak, Malaysia \u2013 The Youth Department of Sarawak Mission recently hosted the Voice of Youth Camp 2023 with the theme “Stand in the Gap” from April 27th to 30th. The event took place at Kampung Bunga Sarawak and was attended by around 700 youths from 50 churches and Sunny Hill Secondary School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of the event was the unexpected turnout, with the number of participants exceeding the expected 400. Participants were excited to learn about leadership, spiritual growth, and prayer. They also appreciated the opportunity to pray in groups and meet new friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, speakers shared valuable insights on spiritual matters. Brendon Moore, one of the speakers, said, \u201cEternity is too long to be wrong,” while another speaker reminded participants that “God does not condemn you, You condemn yourself for not believing in Jesus Christ.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Voice of Youth Camp 2023 was organized to prepare the youth for the upcoming “Hope for Malaysia” event. It was aimed at encouraging them to have full surrender to the Lord and urging them to be faithful to Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The senior pastor expressed his joy in seeing the youth actively involved in the event. He added that this was the biggest event to date in terms of participation in a very long time. The Youth Department of Sarawak Mission hopes that this event will help the youth forge a stronger relationship with Christ and build a character worthy of eternal life in heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants also shared their feedback about the event. They were delighted and excited to learn and understand the meaning of leadership, spiritual growth, and prayer. They felt the blessing of praying in groups and enjoyed the diversity of culture. Many expressed their gratitude and praised the Lord for the opportunity to attend the camp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the Voice of Youth Camp 2023 was a resounding success. It encouraged spiritual growth and unity among the youth and strengthened their faith in God. The Youth Department of Sarawak Mission hopes to organize more such events in the future to help the youth build a strong foundation in their spiritual lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
